Turkey Day (Git Yer Bird On) Ride 20th Edition at Boise Co-Op
Get your bikes ready for the 20th Annual Lost River Cycling Turkey Day Ride! Join us for a ride to help those in need during the holiday season. The event will begin at the Boise Co-Op on Thanksgiving Day. There will be a couple of groups participating, weather permitting, both mountain bikes and road groups. These rides usually last for around two hours. The goal of this event is to raise awareness for the Idaho Foodbank. They will also have donation bags for those who wish to bring in canned or dry goods. Over the years, riders have donated over a ton of food to the Idaho Foodbank. They also have donated over $1,000 to the organization over the years.
Thanksgiving with the Sweet Valley Alpacas
Bring your Thanksgiving guests for a visit with the alpacas between November 25-27. There are available spaces for both adults and children. All the fees (Adults $10, Children $5 - 4 and up) go towards pasture maintenance, feed, and herd health. To reserve a spot, please call 208-608-3477. They will also have fun alpaca products and yarn available for purchase when you arrive!
