It's still possible to make festive plans to ring in 2023! Boise has some great NYE offerings to help you ring in the new year in style. There's music, food, and all kinds of exciting activities to bring in the new year with your friends and loved ones!
Here are some great suggestions to celebrate 2023 around the Treasure Valley!
The Idaho® Potato Drop is the state's signature NYE event and can only be experienced live at the Capitol. This event is a free and charitable event that supports local charities and arts organizations. In addition, KTVB will also broadcast from the park throughout the evening.
Femme Von Follies' NYE Burlesque & Cabaret!
Join Femme Von Follies for a night of glitz and glamour to welcome the New Year with the fabulous women of the Femme Von Follies. Some of the featured artists include Muff Jones, Stella Sin, and Mimi maShuga. Also, join for the singing and dancing of the talented Cabaret singers, including Bobbi Marie and Overcast. Doors at 8 pm. Show at 9 pm. Ticket prices vary.
Join the fun for their New Year's Eve masquerade party, which will be held from 9:00 pm to 12:30 am. Guests can wear their favorite masks and enjoy the festivities. Tickets come with reserved seating, an open bar, and shareable snacks. The event is a seated affair, and the intimate experience of the Thick as Thieves will remain intact. Ticket sales are final, and no refunds will be issued.
Hop Drop 2023: New Year's Eve at Mad Swede
The 5th annual Hop Drop is a night of great music and dancing featuring the Soulmates. The band is known for its blend of rock, soul, and funk - so it'll be a great night out! There is no cover charge, but a donation is suggested at the door. Mad Swede has 16 rotating beers on tap and plenty of options for your DDs!
Downtown Boise's New Year's Eve Block Party
The biggest New Year's Block Party in Boise will feature all four CHG clubs with one $25 wristband! Guests may enter all of the CHG clubs, including Amsterdam Lounge, StrangeLove, Dirty Little Roddy's, and Karma, with their own lines to beat the crowds. Block partygoers can get to the club early for special drink prices and take advantage of NO COVER if they arrive before 8 pm! Table reservations and limo service are available, but they are going fast!
Vintage 61 New Year’s Eve Great Gatsby Bash
Join Vintage 61 for a Gatsby New Year's Eve party! They'll be serving a fabulous three-course dinner and a dessert buffet! Enjoy live music and a cigar lounge for a fancy night out. They'll also host a casino night with Texas hold’em, blackjack, and craps.
New Year's Eve Lock-In at Harward Rec Center
Kids can also enjoy a fun way to ring in 2023 with Nampa Parks & Recreation! The kids can stay in the Harward Rec Center all night as they celebrate the new year with games, movies, pizza, and swimming. All kids must bring a sleeping bag, towel, pillow, PJs, and a swimsuit. Children will have male and female supervision all night. Children ages 6-12 may attend.
