On February 9th, every year, pizza lovers across America celebrate National Pizza Day. Whether you prefer a deep dish or a thin crust, pizza is a part of our culture.
Almost everyone loves pizza, and it comes in so many varieties, too! On average, Americans consume 23 pounds of pizza per person every single year! In Boise, there are several places to fill your belly with ooey-gooey cheesy goodness on February 9th!
Lulu's Pizza & Sushi is known for its New York-style pizza - by the pie or slice. The pizza is the obvious highlight at this restaurant, which serves great food in a family-friendly atmosphere. They also offer live music on a couple of occasions a week.
If you're a regular in downtown Boise, you might have noticed that Pie Hole is always a popular choice. It's known for its pizza and serves up various options including vegan and Idahoan pizza with potato and bacon. Pie Hole is open seven days a week and late into the early hours of the morning for the late-night crowds!
