The autumn season is upon us, and the temperatures are starting to drop. For many, the "Pumpkin Spice" season is the best time of the year!
As the "City of Trees," we would bet that people in Boise would love to experience the beautiful fall season and all of its fun events. There are many great activities to enjoy during autumn - especially PUMPKIN PATCHES!
We've got eight pumpkin patches for you to enjoy with your friends and families during the fall.
Cherry Hill Farms - Caldwell, Idaho
Another corn maze is in the works for the area at Cherry Hill Farms. This 7-acre maze features various paths to explore. The farm will also be hosting a pumpkin patch and hay bale maze. Visit from September 16th to October 29th.
The Berry Ranch - Nampa, Idaho
This farm is known for letting families enjoy picking berries. This season, they have a vast pumpkin patch! If your kids love hayrides, you can take them on a hayride to the field to pick pumpkins. The farm is open seven days a week during the season.
Crossbar Two Produce - Nampa, Idaho
Looking for a variety of giant and colorful pumpkins without all the frills? This farm in Idaho has a self-serve pumpkin stand that's perfect for those looking for something different. According to their Facebook page, their pumpkins come in various shades of yellow, white, blue, pink, and more.
Shindig Farms is a new addition to the fall mazes and haunts scene. In 2021, they opened for their first season. The farm features an eight-foot-tall straw maze, a huge pumpkin patch, a zip line, and various other attractions. They will be open from September 23 to October 31. On certain weekends, they will also send ghosts and ghoulies into the maze, so enter if you dare!
Jordan's Pumpkin Patch & Christmas Tree Lot - Boise, Idaho
Last year, Jordan's moved their pumpkin patch to their garden center near Costco. There, they set up various activities for kids, such as a corn pit, a hay maze, and a petting zoo. Jordan's offers a variety of affordable fall experiences for families in the Treasure Valley.
Good Life Farms - Eagle, Idaho
Good Life Farms is a new farm that started in 2020 with a 10-acre spread. They mainly focus on eggs and vegetables during the summer but also have a pumpkin patch in the fall.
Lowe Family Farmstead - Kuna, Idaho
Over the years, the Lowe Family Farms has been recognized for its quality products. They have over 55 different types of pumpkins and squashes that you can choose from! These are all great for carving, decorating, and baking.
Cabalo's Orchard and Garden - Kuna, Idaho
Cabalo Family Farms is a family-run pumpkin patch! It's owned and operated by Cathy and Chan, and they rely on their kids, grandchildren, and other family members for help. Their patch opened in early October.
