Celebrate Easter in Boise with an Easter Egg Hunt

It's almost time for the Easter Bunny to make its Easter deliveries! One of the most fun and well-known ways to celebrate the holiday is an old-fashioned egg hunt. Kids love them, they can be fun to plan, or they can be an easy way to gather friends and family outdoors for a more COVID-friendly event.
In the Boise area, there are several events you can participate in this year!
For a Sunday afternoon of Easter fun, take the family to True Hope Church for Eggstravaganza! This community event is free with age-specific hunts, bounce houses, food, and other fun things for the kids to do!
After the 7 am sunrise service on Easter Sunday, the kids can enjoy an egg hunt on the lawn of Hidden Springs Community Barn. The event is free, but registration is requested.
Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt with Nampa Parks & Recreation
If your older children want in on the fun, there's a perfect opportunity for teenagers to hunt for eggs...in the dark. Take a flashlight, bag, and mask for the 9 pm hunt! At $3 per person, it's a fun way for the older kids to get in on the egg hunt action.
Easter Egg Swim with Nampa Parks & Recreation
Maybe you're over the outdoor egg hunts and want to take the kids for a swim for their eggs instead! Free to members and only $4 for non-members! Children will need to pass a swim test to use the paddleboards or diving wells!
Easter Egg Hunt at Foothills Church
More than just an egg hunt for the whole family to enjoy! Bounce house, coloring, candy, and more! Plus, it's separated by age so that everyone gets a chance. Also, there's plenty of coffee and donuts for the grownups to enjoy!
