Summer is here again, and undoubtedly, this is the best time to be near a swimming pool. It’s hot outside, and if you’re looking for swimming pools in Boise to cool off - you will not be disappointed! We’ve rounded up a list of public, community, and private pools in the Treasure Valley to visit this summer!
2250 S. Leadville Avenue, Boise
Ivywild Pool has something for everyone, and its pretzel-shaped waterslide will surely grab your attention and keep the kids busy for a few hours. There is a wading pool at this facility. The wading pool features a zero-depth entry, curved designs, and a variety of play features. The wading pool is for children who cannot swim and are under the age of six. 801 S. Aurora Drive, Boise
The L-shaped pool has six swimming lanes and two diving boards. There's also a shallow area for non-swimmers and toddlers with playing amenities. This pool operates until September 6th. Check the website for pricing and operating hours.
5959 N. Discovery Place, Boise
This pool is indoors, meaning the fun goes on all year long. Since 1996, the Boise Aquatic Center has partnered with the West Boise YMCA to offer water exercise, instructional swim, lap swim, a Kid Zone, and more. Check the website for the latest hours and offerings.
7929 W. Northview Street, Boise
Another municipal pool worth a visit! The Fairmont Pool is home to an inflatable obstacle course, open during free swim hours on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Swim test is required to participate.
1811 E. Warm Springs Avenue, Boise
This pool is one of the most happening destinations in Boise during the summer. A rectangular pool with several boards, a kid's section, and the Hydrotube - is basically a mini waterpark. Hydrotube use is an additional charge.

The mission of the Boise Racquet and Swim Club is to be the best sports club in the Treasure Valley, providing a welcoming atmosphere for people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds to enjoy tennis, fitness, swimming, and social events. From Memorial Day to Labor Day weekend, swim in our outdoor pool. Swimming classes, pool parties, and a competitive and non-competitive swim team are all available.
